THe name. The selection. I remember renting even the dumbest films just because I could.
What were the employees and/or owners like, and what kinds of interactions
did you have with them? What particularly memorable exchanges or events
do you remember?
The employees were great. I remember having debates with the clerks about the quality of various films, actors..and so forth

X-Rated, Concerts, How To. I never rented any of those. Though I rented atleast 7 movies a week

play station and super nintendo surfacing. Better quality movies. The "Be kind please rewind" sticker

No..I believe it closed im 1995
In your own words, tell the story of your first VCR/video player. Where
and when did you buy it, and why did you decide to make the purchase?
My father bought a VCR from a man that peddled merchandise outside of his shop. He paid $50.00 for it. When he brought it home he taped everything from wrestling to the news. We had a VCR before we even had cable. That was in 1987
Did you ever rent a VCR or other hardware (a camera, for instance)? If so,
how often and why?
We rented a camera one time for our wedding.
