It was aa appliance sales/rental store. Looked like a warehouse and is long since out of business. Went there because they were the only place stocking beta rentals.

Home appliance sale and rental, eventually got into furniture rental before they closed.

VHS, beta and some laserdisc.

and when did you buy it, and why did you decide to make the purchase?
Bought a beta player from Sear's as I was impressed with the quality over vhs. Bought it to help open up entertainment options as I was recently divorced and had my daughter on alternate weekends.
